When I ordered your kennel leads for our kennel and our store, staff wasn't too happy with me. They liked the way they were doing things. When they arrived, they sat around for a bit until I went over to the kennel and saw they hadn't been opened. I advised our kennel manager when I came in tomorrow, those leads would be in use. Now, they're everywhere. The staff wears them over their neck because they're light and quick to grab. It's easy to walk into the kennel and slip it over the dog's head (which works especially well with fearful dogs), there are a dozen hanging on our outdoor hooks so that volunteers and staff can grab them as they are working (great when a dog decides he doesn't want to stop playing), they are washed daily in our isolation unit and no doubt has stopped some cross contamination (was always a big problem with leather leads - they'd use them, usually have nasal discharge from another dog and they can't be washed) because there is one lead per dog in isolation and every lead gets washed daily.
My customers love the Soft Line Leads. They are soft and easy on the hands, all sorts of colors are available, and they last for years.

I originally searched for rope kennel leads that were affordable and well made. I also look for products made in the USA. When I came across Softlines, I purchased a few to start. Well, I love these leads from the first and it shows when I sell them. The idea, also, of having my business on them is fantastic PR. When my customers purchase them, every time they look at the lead, they see my company, WearWuf!. LOVE IT!!! Customers rave over them because of the quality, colors available and that they float! They are reasonably priced, so very affordable in this economy. Many of my sales are from repeat customers and word of mouth. Softlines, Inc. is a great company to work with. Friendly, helpful and customer service is beyond any I have seen. I know every time I order, my order will be correct and delivered fast. It is truly a pleasure working with Softlines, Inc.
I was introduced to your wonderful slip leashes when dropping off a transport of rescued dogs to a Humane Society in up-state New York a few months ago. I have searched online for them ever since and finally found you! I am a member of a licensed, incorporated rescue group (501 non-profit status is pending) and wonder if you sell wholesale or at a discount to rescue groups? We started rescuing animals in MS and LA the week after Katrina hit (I lived on the AL Gulf Coast until January) and we immediately saw the ripple effect on rescues in other states: The overwhelming number of Katrina pets displaced local animals, who were being put down in record numbers because foster and adoptive homes were full. As a result Death Row Dog Rescue was incorporated in GA on December 9, 2005.
We transport 12 to 35 dogs at one time to rescues in the Mid-West and Northeast and have to stop to walk them several times during a trip – an incredible abuse of one’s hands if using standard vet nylon slip leads! So when we were handed your wonderful, soft rope leads at the end of one trip, we were in heaven. As these dogs travel without collars while going to Humane groups that will then adopt them out, slip leads are essential. And we find that most of the unwanted and leftover dogs in southern shelters are 40 – 60 pounds (sometimes more – Danes and Sheps), so it was nice to rely on a hefty rope in hand.
I will be ordering some leashes from you, as they are terrific! PetsMart donated thousands of crates to our rescue efforts in September and if I can find the VP’s number, I am going to recommend your product to them. Or have you already dealt with the big guys and chosen not to go that route? I don’t want to overstep my bounds at all! Many thanks for your help. I will wait to hear back from you before I place an online order.

Tom, I would like to thank you again for your help in assessing what products would best suit my dogs, Jet and JJ. I will order as soon as I complete this email! As we discussed, I write, well really transcribe, a blog for my dog, Jet. www.heyitsjethere.wordpress.com. After losing my first ever dog, Koko, last fall, I thought perhaps writing a light-hearted blog would help lift our spirits. Jet is a funny guy with a sad beginning. (He was plucked from Animal Services here in Miami 4 days from you know what!) I’ve been surprised, delighted and grateful for all the feedback and support received from other animal bloggers (who knew pet blogging was so huge!). I would be interested in partnering with your company in some way; perhaps a give-a-way, a discount or another idea you may have. I would be happy to write a review, a testimonial or participate in another type of feedback or act as a brand ambassador. By the way, I appreciate purchasing an American made product in these challenging times.
Thank you for your excellent service and quality of product. I was very happy with how quickly the leads came! Thank you.
Our store is located in Hyannis, MA. on Cape Cod. The Cape is surrounded by water and therefore, much of pet owners' recreational activities revolve around either beaches or boating. Since being introduced, the Beach Lines have been very well accepted and rated by our customers. The main selling points are that they float and won't get caught around the animal's legs. Mildew resistance and the fact that they shed water play a big part in this item's popularity. The fact that they come in so many thicknesses and lengths means a "custom fit" for all sizes of dogs. Some of our customers use the Beach Lines to attach toys or training dummies so they won't float away with the tide. As a retailer, we have been quite pleased with this product and will certainly continue to provide them for our customers.
I just wanted to let you know that I love the custom leash you helped me order with the two sculpted handles. My dog is still crazy, but handling her outbursts is made painless and so much easier thanks to those big cushy handles! Thank you so much for your quick and courteous service.
I received the slip lead today - thank you for the prompt service! It is very nice, just what I wanted. Thanks again!
The sample you sent me was a HUGE hit with my fellow volunteers! I have raised enough funds from them for an order (some personalization involved if that's ok). The president of the rescue I volunteer with loves the sample too and have asked me to email her your company's info. I believe she will be making larger orders for the rest of our organization.
One of our volunteers bought the 6 foot soft lead with martingale collar from a local retailer and we are most impressed with the quality. I am interested in buying a supply for our volunteer dog walkers without the martingale.
